The maintenance-free LONG lead-acid battery WP6-4500 (OEM no.: WP4.5-6) is suitable for powering security and alarm systems, for emergency power supply, medical equipment or industrial applications (not VdS-certified). The battery has a service life of 3–5 years and is protected against deep discharge (although this should be avoided). Thanks to electrodes made from a special antimony-free lead alloy, the battery’s self-discharge rate is less than 3 per cent per month. The casing is made of corrosion- and ageing-resistant plastic and is impact- and break-resistant. The battery can be operated in any position and is easy to install thanks to a Faston connector (4.8 mm).
