The maintenance-free LONG lead-acid battery WP12-7200-F2 (OEM No.: WP7.2-12-F2) is VDS-certified and is therefore ideal for powering security and alarm systems, emergency power supplies, medical equipment or industrial applications. The battery has a service life of 3–5 years and is protected against deep discharge (although this should be avoided). Thanks to electrodes made from a special antimony-free lead alloy, the battery’s self-discharge rate is less than 3% per month. The casing is made of corrosion- and ageing-resistant plastic and is impact- and break-resistant. The battery can be operated in any position and is easy to install thanks to a Faston connector (6.3 mm).
